VINHO VERSO
VINHO VERSO
These two pitchers celebrate the gesture that binds writing and wine: pouring, tracing, letting things flow. Every surface—inside, outside, above, below—is covered with a mosaic of reclaimed Portuguese decals, applied manually, fragment by fragment, onto fine porcelain. Amid the reassembled patterns, subtle clues appear: Camões, Pessoa—echoes of Portugal's tradition of turning wine into thought and thought into words. The process is entirely handcrafted: polychrome decals are cut and placed by hand before being fired at high temperature, creating a continuous skin of image and glaze. Each curve holds a human gesture; each fragment finds new meaning in recomposition. Two pitchers that feel written rather than decorated—liquid pages where Portugal's visual and literary imagination continues to ferment.
