ELIÉZER NASCIMENTO

Artist and academic researcher based in Lisbon

For over a decade, Eliézer has been transforming ceramic waste into extraordinary porcelain art. What Portuguese factories discard, he reimagines as reflective pieces that challenge our perceptions of value, memory, and permanence.

His innovative practice combines traditional craftsmanship with experimental processes, creating art that gives new life to discarded materials. From prestigious residencies at Vista Alegre Porcelain Factory to international exhibitions spanning Hong Kong, Lisbon, and Brazil, his work has captivated audiences worldwide.

Currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Aveiro, Eliézer bridges the worlds of academia and artistry, proving that the most profound beauty often emerges from the most unexpected sources.
