Drift does not navigate — it accumulates. In this constellation of nine ashtrays, saturation reaches its point of collapse: blues and yellows from Portuguese tilework intertwine with fishing scenes, floral and geometric patterns that no longer obey any hierarchy. Each piece is simultaneously fragment and totality — when brought together, they form a chaotic panel. A board where memory does not organize itself — it proliferates. Each ashtray becomes a small territory of accumulation. Layers of decals rescued from Portuguese factory archives, applied manually before being sealed in the glaze. Drift is excess transformed into method.
